Renga Software development team is exited to announce the latest release of Renga BIM system. Every six weeks we release an updated version of Renga BIM system bringing new functionality, and getting closer to the big tasks and goals that we've set for ourselves. As you know, any large task consists of many subtasks, and releases are designed to solve these subtasks, especially when they are in demand from users. So, the latest Renga release comes with new features of dimensions, hatching and model texts.
Dimensions, text, and hatching are also features that users have said deserve new capabilities, along with the lines we talked about in the previous release. In this regard, our team has implemented the ability to manage the properties of linear, diametrical, radial and angular dimensions, hatching and model texts, which will allow you to display and use the parameters and properties of dimensions, model hatching, model texts in filters, specifications, legends and markers. In this article we provided several examples of using the new functionality.

A month and a half ago, users were given the ability to independently create new categories of engineering equipment styles in Renga, thereby expanding the variety of parametric engineering equipment within the BIM system, which was previously limited to only the existing 102 categories of equipment, parts and accessories. You can find the intermediate results in the article. This functionality is available in Renga Professional. As well as the unique mechanism of the real-time mode collaboration developed with the grant support from Russian Information Technology Development Foundation. It allows to avoid conflict situations between specialists when making changes to the project. Renga collaboration tool is a completely unique piece of functionality not available anywhere else. Data from all project participants is combined into a common model instantly and automatically. Collaboration in Renga BIM system not only allows users to reduce time for design approving, but also shortens the process of working on 3D models and drawings.
Renga Software development team continues to improve and enhance Renga BIM system. We are currently working on implementing the ability to edit 3D model objects in schedules and new functionality for holes.
