When working on project designers often experience the need to use several software solutions to carry out their performance-intensive tasks.
When working on a project, one of the most important things is design data. Data loss is troublesome and often resultes in missed construction deadlines and higher chances for errors. Which means the collaboration major goal is to save user data, regardless of the collaboration style used on the project. Our development team has implemented collaboration that allows all project stakeholders to make changes to design, and work with relevant information without risking to loose important data. That's why in this release we continue on improving collaboration functionality. We've also significantly improved Project Explorer to make your drawing workflows more efficient. For illustrative purposes we provide our users with an updated demo project designed in Renga that we included to Renga distribution package.
Collaboration between designers plays a significant role when developing a project. And one of our major goals is to provide our users with an effective BIM tool allowing a real-time mode design for all the construction disciplines.
The latest Renga release brings you enhancements and optimizations, and a serious piece of new functionality: improved automated calculation of structure materials, better project collaboration, optimized drawing workflows, increased application performance when working with large data.
This article presents the latest Renga 5.0 release and follows our course chosen in the second half of 2021 to improve the Renga functionality when working with drawings, namely: modernizing the Project Explorer; automating tools for drawing documentation generation and preparation; creating designer-specific schedules (by obtaining new data using formulas and additional quantities of model objects); optimizing performance when working with large amounts of graphic data; and maintaining compliance with Russian drafting standards. More details about all the 5.0 release new features are provided below.
