Renga: Complex Design from Socially Significant Facilities to Multi-Story Housing
Specialized developer of the Nizhny Novgorod region "Direkciya Po Stroitelstvu" was created to solve problems of completing the construction of "problematic" facilities and eliminating emergency housing stock in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
Socially significant facilities and multi-story housing are the main objects for the design and construction of the company.
Since the company operates within the state framework, it prioritises the transition to domestically developed software and information modeling technology. Previously, the company used to work in 2D software and design in Autocad and Archicad products, but 2D design had a number of significant drawbacks: when making project modifications, the changes were often lost when transfering the data from one section of the design documentation to others. A lot of errors and inconsistencies popped up only at the construction stage. For the company that works with a government budget, maintaining accurate cost estimates and meeting project deadlines is especially important.
When it was time to choose new software for design workflows, the company management decided to opt for the domestically developed alternative. It was supposed to be a single product for designing architectural, structural and MEP systems. Having studied all the offers on the BIM software market, they came to the conclusion that Renga BIM system is the most suitable solution for design.
The first project completed in Renga was the design of 20 medical and obstetrical stations in 19 municipal districts of the Nizhny Novgorod region under the targeted investment program of the Nizhny Novgorod region for 2023-2025.

At the time being, "Direkciya Po Stroitelstvu" works on several projects of multi-storey residential buildings in Nizhny Novgorod using Renga BIM system.
