Softline (part of the Softline Group), Russia's leading IT provider of digital transformation and information security products and services, helped Srednevolzhskelectroproekt Company (SVEP) to implement Renga Professional BIM system, developed by Renga Software, a joint venture of ASCON and 1C. As a result, the project company is now able to provide a high level of precision and quality when performing digital design of facilities. Assisting businesses in import substitution processes alignes with Softline Group strategy.

SVEP uses Renga Professional as the primary platform for 3D design in the power supply department. Using Renga Professional ensures transparency of all processes and provides increased design accuracy due to a full 3D modeling experience. In addition, using this software reduces the likelihood of errors during the implementation stage thanks to preliminary digital verification of design decisions and better coordination between departments.

"The facilities Srednevolzhskelectroproekt designs include workshops, cable tray systems, and processing stations covering an area of tens of thousands of square meters. Since this means implementing large-scale projects in an existing production environment, selecting a BIM system required a high level of technical expertise and understanding work specifics. "With the help of Softline specialists, we quickly resolved this issue," says Alisa Korotkova, Head of Distribution Networks Department at SVEP.
"Srednevolzhskelectroproekt team has strong internal expertise, and it was important for Softline specialists to speak the same technical language with the client in order to offer an effective digital design solution.
"During our dialogue with the client, we selected a software program that allows to implement facility refurbishment projects while maintaining deadlines, budgets, and providing technical reliability," notes Anton Bukatin, CAD Solutions Development Manager at Softline Group.
"Our many years of practice and user experience have long proven that a digital information model will always be useful. And this statement applies both to small-scale objects, and to large and complex ones, especially if we are talking about power supply systems in industrial facilities. This is where the use of information modeling technology helps to take into account all the design features and subtleties, preventing errors during electrical installation works, as was demonstrated by the SVEP Company. "Softline specialists were able to quickly understand the client's needs, offered the ultimate solution — Renga Professional BIM system — and provided advisory and technical support for client's rapid transition to the new software," comments Maxim Nechiporenko, Deputy General Director of Renga Software.
