Renga BIM System Release Announcement
For the past month and a half, Renga Software development team has been working hard on the latest BIM system release to implement new features and solutions for automation and optimization. Renga is a complex technological and intellectual product that incorporates innovative approaches to design process, such as a unique mechanism for collaboration in the real time mode (note: this functionality has been developed under the sponsorship of Russian Information Technology Development Foundation). This approach to collaborating on a single model undoubtedly improves the quality of projects, but may also require higher system performance. We understand this and try to maximize the use of graphics cards and multicore processors. And, of course, we think about how else we can improve the performance of our software.
That is why in the new Renga version our developers have paid close attention to improving performance, expanding the capabilities of grid lines, filters, and editing information in the model in schedules. This release continues to deliver an important piece of functionality from our Renga Roadmap, which is based on our users' feedback and where you can track what plans have already been completed, and what plans are awaiting to be implemented.
Performance is an important characteristic that is crucial for every user when choosing design software. The latest Renga version comes with the increased runtime of the 'Show all' command that will certainly bring joy to many users.
When improving the 3d model workflows, we never forget about the drawing functionality. And here we have something nice for our users - extended associative link between grid lines in 3D view and grid lines in drawings. Now you can edit the length of grid lines in drawings and then move or delete them in the model without breaking the link. From now on working on project drawings will become faster and more enjoyable.
The development team has also continued to improve the editing of parameters and model properties in schedules. New Renga version delivers the ability to edit object style parameters from schedules. This means that in tabular form you can now edit parameters that will change the dimensions and sizes of model objects. For the next Renga release in April we are planning further development of grid lines functionality, stay tuned.
