New Renga Release: Starting 2024 with Enhanced Functionalities

Our company's approach to developing and releasing new versions of Renga every six weeks allows us to deliver new functionalities and fix bugs as quickly as possible. We do not postpone new Renga releases even if they fall on the long New Year holidays. Especially since Renga development team has finished working on several important and highly anticipated new functionalities for our users.

New Renga release comes with the ability to change the properties and parameters of objects directly from schedules. This means that if you make a mistake when filling in the designations or names of construction products or equipment, it can be corrected immediately. The Schedule tool has already been helpful when checking if the properties were filled accurately. But now you don't need to search for such elements in a model, new functionality allows correcting everything at once in schedule. But there is more to it. The latest Renga release comes with the improved Schedule tool that allows you to literally edit models. Using this new mechanism, you will be able to apply a mass change in the window opening height parameter or wall thickness, as well as many other useful scenarios.

Our development team has also added the ability to work with reinforcement styles in the Assembly tool. This means that you can now create reinforcement in the Assembly automatically. In addition to this, in the Assembly you can also create single reinforcement products based on parametric styles and combine these working methods. These new reinforcement capabilities provide many scenarios not only for designers, but also for other professionals involved in creating digital information models.

Combined slab reinforcement in the Assembly

This example shows how a monolithic slab is reinforced in the Assembly with a combination of parametric reinforcement style and additional rebars. And, of course, this approach makes generating schedules and sheets for such structures much more convenient. The new version of Renga provides many interesting scenarios, and we've discussed some of them in depth in the article. You are also welcome to download our full trial version of Renga right now.
