Every design professional considers comfort, efficient functionality, and great work speed in the software environment to be foundational for productivity. And the dynamics of the software product development is of great importance here. Implementation of new functionality is not just new "tools"; it is a new vector of thought, a removed limitation, an opportunity to do work better, and to make results more significant.
This is the logic that guides Renga Software developers as they improve their product with each release, constantly capturing user feedback and requests.
The long-awaited new versions of Renga Standard and Renga Professional offer new features and improvements to existing ones.
Let's start with the improved 'Paste Link' command, which has become even more useful: it now allows users to insert links to DWG/DXF files into drawings. This will help to make files lighter and to get rid of "garbage" elements in projects: now there is no need to add unnecessary graphic elements to projects. Auto-update has also become available: if the original DWG/DXF file has changed, the drawing in Renga will be updated automatically. This functionality saves time on replacing files and prevents errors (for example, if a team member forgot to update it manually).

The long-awaited 'Group' and 'Ungroup' commands will help users to combine objects into groups. The first step was the ability to work with groups in drawings, and a little later this ability will appear in 3D view and in assemblies. This means that in the future, Renga users will be able to group all objects (Watch the video on VK Video or RuTube).
Our next innovation will be highly appreciated by engineers. Imagine a model of a large residential building with multiple routing points on utility lines. So many points can seriously obstruct visibility. This is where 'Replace with Vertex' command comes in handy! Users can now replace routing points with vertices directly in the tab of the relevant utility system to which these points belong. New Renga version allows to do this faster and easier—right in the system tab. Do you want to see it in action? Watch videos on VK Video or RuTube.
In addition to the routing points, Renga development team has significantly improved Handles. Now, when selecting a large number of elements, the display of their handles changes. Selecting has become more visual and easy to read due to the lack of display of all object handles.

Renga developers continue to improve API in the latest version. Users can do everything via the API when it comes to drawings: create and edit drawings, manage their properties, access all drawing objects, create and edit text on sheets, and open drawings by ID. This provides wide possibilities for automating tasks, for example, for placing standard texts (such as documentation headers) in specified locations on drawings.
We continue to improve system performance to ensure Renga users can comfortably work with projects of any complexity and scale. Latest Renga release provides a rich tool to drive important workflow processes, that's why our users might notice their interactions with models have become smoother and faster. For example, if you look at the frame rate (FPS) meter, in some projects it can increase by two times.
