The new Renga version offers more enhanced design opportunities for users and helps them to immerse in the world of 3D design. We constantly capture user feedback and requests, working on features and functionality to help our users design more productively.
This release continues to deliver an important piece of functionality from our Renga Roadmap – improved Hole tool. We've added the ability to create holes in roofs, added the ability to cut several objects at once with a hole, and implemented new calculation characteristics “Overall width” and “Overall height”. These updates will reduce the time required to model building structures and speed up the documenting process.
Now users will be able to more accurately and flexibly model various elements and roof structures: dormer windows, lucarnes, aerators, etc. And if the roof location changes, created holes associatively move with it, ensuring the integrity and consistency of the entire model. The Hole tool has now the long-awaited ability to cut through several objects at once. If you want to place a hole through objects, just set the appropriate depth in the parameters. (Watch the video on RuTube and VK Video).

The latest Renga version comes with the ability to group filters into sections that will certainly bring joy to many users. This will allow you to structure filters by purpose and make it easier to find the filter you need if there are many of them in the project. (Watch the video on RuTube and VK Video demonstrating the grouping of filters by sections using the example of a car service building).

The updated Renga also features a new capability – “Extend or shorten to corner.” Users can now automatically extend or cut off parts of selected elements in their models. And with the further development of the Extend/Shorten command, designers will be able to specify a baseline as a boundary.

With each new release Renga becomes more productive and faster, allowing our users create large-scale and complex projects. . To make Renga experience more comfortable for designers, our development team optimized and increased the speed of schedule calculation, and the speed of the "Hide", "Isolate", "Show all", "Visual style" commands in projects with a large number of objects. KS-Development Company experienced it when developing “House in the city of Perm” project where the time for using these commands was reduced by 2-3 times on average! The company uses this project as a template for expert evaluation.
