Agrostroyservis Company: You Need BIM to Be Effective and Meet Modern Challenges

Founded in 1992 Agrostroyservis Company provides a full range of services from designing to clearing of operation sewage treatment plants and cooling towers of various types. The company employs 200 people. Agrostroyservis produces VENTA series mechanical draft cooling towers and manufactures BIOTOK brand sewage treatment plants. They are designed for the treatment of industrial and domestic wastewater of varying volumes and degrees of pollution.

The prerequisites for the transition from 2D designing to 3D information modeling technology, were dictated by both internal and external factors. The internal strategy includes the development strategy of the Agrostroyservis company, which involves more intelligent use of resources and optimization of workflows, leading to productivity and profitability, and creating a sought-after personnel reserve that meets modern challenges in the field of industrial construction. The external factor was the highly competitive environment, that required submitting 3D models along with the documentation.

Previously, all the design workflows at the company were carried out exclusively in 2D programs such as AutoCAD. However, internal regulations and development instructions did not allow to speed up the design workflows or reduce statistical errors to zero.
